Hello! My name is Mrs. Carla Heffernan. I earned a bachelor's degree at UNI and a master’s degree at Morningside University. I am starting my 6th year teaching 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade Math at Olin Elementary. I love the family feel here and enjoy watching the students grow each year!
I live in Tipton with my husband, two teenage sons, and two dogs. I love spending time with my family and friends! My boys are active in sports and we love watching the Iowa Hawkeyes and Chicago Cubs. I also enjoy taking pictures, reading, yoga, walking my dogs, coffee, tea, chocolate, and of course, learning and teaching!
